Unplanned Parenthood is a rip on Planned Parenthood, an organization that tries to promote sexual health and education. During the opening scene where the doctor is prepping his patient for her abortion, a laugh track is heard between lines of dialogue. We then cut to the TV and see it's from The Benny Hill Show. Willie Nelson's classic traveling tune "On the Road Again" plays over the montage of fetuses being packed up and shipped away. When Cartman rolls up the overturned fetus truck, he's humming "My Baby Takes the Morning Train" by Sheena Easton. Lastly, when Cartman gives an impassioned speech to Congress, he seals the deal with a timeless song: "Heat of the Moment" by Asia. Cartman says he learned about stem cells on 3-2-1 Contact, an educational science show that ran on PBS in the 80s.
