In addition to saying "shit," Mr. Garrison constantly uses the word "fag" -- which isn't bleeped when he utters it because he's gay. When straight characters attempt to use the word, they're bleeped -- except for Jimbo. "Guess we learned something new about you, Jimbo, you freakin' fag!" Mr. Garrison says. "You wanna make out or something?"

Butters shows his first signs of rebellion here, as he's seen graffiti-ing his name on the side of a building.  He'll fully embrace his dark side in "Professor Chaos".

The HBC Television Network makes its South Park debut.  HBC can be seen in many future episodes, providing both news and programming to the boys.

He explains that it's, " the stuff you get as an appetizer at Thai food restaurants. Meecrob is way grosser than shit, dude. I'd scarf down a whole wet bucket full of shit before I ate another plate of meecrob."
