* Butters has been around since the pilot episode ([[Cartman Gets An Anal Probe]]), although he was mostly a background character, named Puff-Puff, for the first two seasons.  His first breakout role was in the Season 3 episode [[Two Guys Naked In A Hot Tub]].  He's been a staple in ''South Park'' ever since...
* Butters was not a named character in ''South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut''.
