One of the most well-respected actors in the world, Poitier works with such screen titans as [[Sally Struthers]] even in his advanced age. He owns a small clam containing the Shobjinn Fairies, who inform him when evil is afoot - like [[Mecha-Streisand]]. He can turn into an enormous turtle-like creature whenever giant monsters run amok and loves the thrill of a good fight. He can also fly by pulling his body parts inside his shell. While he is defeated by Streisand, his bravery proves important in weakening her for [[Robert Smith]].

*His monster form is based on the character Gamera from the 1965 Japanese monster film ''Gamera  the Invincible'' and it's many sequels. The character is a gigantic turtle-like creature that breathes fire and defends children from other giant monsters.
*The Shobjinn fairies who tell Poitier about Streisand are a homage to the same characters in the Mothra film series, particularly 1961's ''Mothra'', 1954's ''Mothra vs. Godzilla'' and 1964's ''Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster''.
