The longtime Pope of the Roman Catholic Church for nearly thirty years, Pope John Paul II (born Karol Józef Wojtyła) is the ancient and incapable but unquestioned leader of the Church - under the Queen Spider of course. He is barely capable of even basic speech and seems to be dying. Upon his death, Pope Benedict XVI was elected to succeed him. He has since been posthumously christened a Saint.
