Kurt Russell is the actor from the Stargate movies, contracted by the U. S. Government during Operation Imagination Doorway due to his unique 'experience' with portals in the movie... only to be violated horrifically by the Christmas Critters. He later ended his acting career and became a firefighter in South Park, helping with the PiPi's Splashtown disaster and aftermath of Mecha-Streisand's rampage... not that he was afraid to join Tom Cruise's class-action lawsuit in the first place.
