About

When the boys got bored with their Laundromat game and opened their own detective agency, it was difficult to find cases, with the Mrs. Farnickle case a particular bust. All that changed when they went directly up against the FBI Kids in the case of Sarah Peterson's missing doll. A job well-done gets them on the job as junior detectives with Lieutenant Dawson and they get sent to bust other crimes. After getting wrapped up in a complicated meth lab plot involving detectives Murphy and Jenkins, many criminals are killed, many cops, including the friendly Detective Hopkins injured, and the police force is cleaned up... but they decide playing laundromat is more fun.

• The boys have been honorary deputies in the South Park Police since season 2's "Chickenlover", though only Cartman excised most duties of the office. It wasn't until this episode we saw the Park County Police Station and they graduated to detectives.
• Though Butters Stotch isn't a part of the boys' unit, he also knows someone who's on the Park County police force -- Inspector Butters is always on the case!
