Ben Affleck was originally born to Stephen and Martha Thompson and suffered from a strange disorder called Torsonic Polarity Syndrome, meaning his face looks like an ass - or pancake, depending on who you talk to. He came to South Park to be reunited with his biological parents, but returned later with this then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez when he met the love of his life, Hennifer Lopez (no relation) and they had passionate sex (while Eric Cartman slept.) He often spends time with other famous celebrities, like Sylvester Stallone at his son's wedding and Tom Cruise at his luxurious mansion. Butters Stotch isn't so fond of Affleck, jealous of his Oscar nomination and his relationship with Jennifer Lopez... though not with Jennifer Garner, his current wife.
