The Colorado Avalanche and the Detroit Red Wings have had a huge rivalry for years that has culminated in on-ice brawls during games. When a scheduled game between the two is intended to be preceded by a pee-wee hockey game and one of the teams doesn't show, the good-hearted Avalanche team allows the Park County Pee-Wee Hockey Team a chance to play anyway -- against the Red Wings. The pee-wee team is destroyed 32-2 and suffers at least one casualty.
