The South Park Cows are the worldwide Champions of Dodgeball, a title that they narrowly won from the Chinese Dodgeball Players in a showdown in Beijing that took the life of one young Kenny McCormick. Their star player was the now deceased Phillip "Pip" Pirrup, who was always just a few French jokes away from taking out an entire opposing team. The team hasn't signaled much interest in another championship bout, now short a coach and it's star player.

- During the practice session in the school gym, Kevin Stoley is the boy holding and throwing the ball -- later in the episode, he is revealed to be Chinese, just like the world champion Chinese Dodgeball Players in the episode.
