A former Governor of Iowa and the current Secretary of Agriculture in the Barack Obama administration, Tom Vilsack has been well-known for advocating wheat and dairy products from agricultural states like his native Iowa. When a major gluten crisis emerged in the small mountain town of South Park after a visit from USDA Scientist John Garner, Vilsack convened with the other USDA Scientists to discuss how to solve the problem, testing dozens of possible diet combinations. With the guidance of an ancient spirit and a nine-year-old boy from Colorado, they eventually discovered the solution was the opposite of the food pyramid. A job well done, Vilsack and his associates celebrate by attending a party at the Broflovski Residence featuring Lorde.
